I would appreciate very much, if I could declare a keyword as a parents Keyword, with all its XMP information etc.
But then all keywords (childern) beneath would take automaticaly the declaration from the parents keyword.

If we should change from PSu to an other programm, then we could define the keywords with the parameters at this time and write it once to the photos. But till to that point, we could much more easy add and change keywords much more easy.

I'm sorry to come again with a question like this:

Is there any problem, if we have our collection of Photos only with Privat labels or keywords? The handling, to add new keywords, is much easier. So there will be none informationen writen in to the files. The keywords are only in the catalogue ...

PSu is running on a server with Multi User Access! Adobe LR etc. doesn’t!

How can I delete a category, which is automatic generated? This category is now empty. The command is in the context menu greyed out.

Just two additional questions:

There is the possiblitiy to write the Meta-Data in a side-care File. The other posibility is theses to write to the Picture-file.

Which one of these two methods is faster relating synchronizing?
And where do I define, that the side-cars will be created?

Ok. I have pushed up the Priority of the Process in the Taskmanager. one step more then normal is ok. two step more then normal causes a crash of PSu.
At least the synchronisation run now with about 40%, about twice of normal.

But it is not as fast as I would love it.

On my client, the pictures and postgres db on the windows server 2012R2, the process of synchronisation takes very long time. 0.1% in appr. 20 Sek.

I have tuned the postgres db according the manuel!

Is there an other solution to speed up the whole thing. On the Windows Server as on my client ...

It is solved! I can configure it and instruct the user not to delete it anymore!

A teacher is comming and said to me, that share to email, or share to Folder is anymore available. That means, these two icons are not anymore there! What must I do?

When I try to remove red eyes an access violation happend.

I mark the file, then I go to "Adjust" - Filters - Red Eye Correction.
Mouse with cross to the eye and mark it as mentioned.

Everything is ok.

1. But when I zoom in, that the eye get bigger, than an access violation can sometimes occure ...

Oh, slowly the light is brightening up.

So I can creat a whole tree of labels, to geht some structure.

But I can declare, that a Label is private, so it remains just in the catalog and will not be writen in the file (C)
Or I can declare, that a label is not a keyword and it is used ...

Ok. On the left Side I create a Flag "Test" as you see in Pic01

So I can assign the Flag Test to Photos and the Keyword will be placed in the field Keywords

As I was going through the process, step by step, I saw that the Flag will be added in the Field "Keywords" !

So If I do not declare a specifique XMP-Field, it will be writen in the Field "Keywords". Did I get it right?
