Re: Secondary monitor issue
Thanks for the suggestion Robert.
I installed the nVidia Studio drivers, but it did not resolve the issue.
Do you use two monitors? If so, can you please confirm that the following sequence works for you:
1. Select the floating viewer option
2. Display an image in the viewer
3. Reduce the viewer ...

Re: Missing Thumbnails for Affinity Photo Files
The latest update brought back thumbnails for afphoto files on macOS Sequoia but introduced other issues. Now when I save a file as afphoto and verify the folder, it creates a thumbnail with transparent borders and lists the size as 1:1 despite the actual file being in another ratio. In the case of ...

Re: Missing Thumbnails for Affinity Photo Files
I hate to bring this old post back to life but I'm having this same problem again after updating to macOS 15 Sequoia. I tried to rotate an afphoto image in PS 2025 and when PS tried to rebuild the thumb, I just get the generic icon. Verifying a folder with afphoto files in it also caused the thumbs ...

Re: States/Aspect Ratio/Ratio Square Issue
Thanks. I should have said I'm on macOS Sequoia 15.3.2. I did just upgrade to Sequoia so don't know if it's related. I'm also having issues with thumbnails after the update but that's for another post.

States/Aspect Ratio/Ratio Square Issue
When I select aspect ratio square in the States section I get many images that aren't square. I'm seeing some 4x5, some 3x2, some 16x9...there doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason as it's all formats as well: some tiff, some jpeg, some raw. All the other ratios appear to return the correct ...

I'm having the same issue with GPS Longitude and Latitude in the details section. Nothing appears when I select them despite there being numbers listed next to it.
P.S. With v 7454 on Mac.

Re: Tabs Changing Sort After Restart of PS 2025
Addendum: In my brief testing it looks like the tabs are reset if I have the last tab (in this case, tab #6) active when I close the app. If one of the other tabs is active they appear to retain my chosen sort when re-opening the app. I'm not 100% on that but it's something to look into.

Tabs Changing Sort After Restart of PS 2025
I usually work with 5 or more tabs open at any one time and have all of them sorted by Photo Date Descending so the most recent images are at the top. And when I quit the app I choose to keep the tabs open. What I've noticed lately is after I restart the app some or all of my tabs have been re ...

Re: Searching for Items Without a Version Set
I had no idea you could do that. Thanks a lot.roddyt wrote: 23 Feb 25 11:50 In the State menu, hold down the option key (alt, I think, in Windows) and select Version Sets. That should get you what you want. Holding that key, in effect, is like adding NOT to a selection.

Searching for Items Without a Version Set
I see how I can use the Types section to locate version sets but is it possible to search for images that are alone/not in a version set? All my processed raw files have a working image in the set but I'd like to search a folder of images for raw files that have no processed files. These are the ...

Re: Photo Supreme v2025 is released
Not sure if this is a 2025 issue but I don't recall seeing it in 2024 but when using Details to view images by Exposure Time I'm noticing the numbers are way off. It appears that viewing images with an exposure time of 1/10 also includes those taken at 1/100 and 1/1000. Selecting 1/8 shows those ...

Re: DNG import failed
Dear all thank you for hints and support.
After using PSU many years and making a lot of experiences and testing I decided to say good by PSU.
Reasons are the continued problems with the database, extrem sluggish performance, problems with some file formats and some other.
From now on I will ...

You can right click on a small thumbnail image and select delete....at least on my Mac you can.
