States/Aspect Ratio/Ratio Square Issue

When I select aspect ratio square in the States section I get many images that aren't square. I'm seeing some 4x5, some 3x2, some 16x9...there doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason as it's all formats as well: some tiff, some jpeg, some raw. All the other ratios appear to return the correct images except for square. Anyone else seeing this?

Just checked mine under Win11 and only square images appear for me.

Thanks. I should have said I'm on macOS Sequoia 15.3.2. I did just upgrade to Sequoia so don't know if it's related. I'm also having issues with thumbnails after the update but that's for another post.

Yes. I can confirm this on MacOS Sequoia. I use both MacOS and Windows11 so I will check it morning on my Windows Machine and send report to Hert.

Win11; PSU: 7494; States/Aspect Ratio/Ratio Square; works as expected for me.
Sorry, no MacOS versions in my world (yet)

I'm not quite sure if I've understood hert correctly. You can try to recreate the thumbnails for images that are incorrect. It has worked for me so far but not for all ratio options.
