Tabs Changing Sort After Restart of PS 2025

I usually work with 5 or more tabs open at any one time and have all of them sorted by Photo Date Descending so the most recent images are at the top. And when I quit the app I choose to keep the tabs open. What I've noticed lately is after I restart the app some or all of my tabs have been re-sorted to File Name Ascending. I don't think this is normal. The problem is I can't figure out what the exact behavior is because it's not consistent. Sometimes it seems like all tabs, sometimes it just 2 or 3 of the 5. Anyone else having this issue?

Addendum: In my brief testing it looks like the tabs are reset if I have the last tab (in this case, tab #6) active when I close the app. If one of the other tabs is active they appear to retain my chosen sort when re-opening the app. I'm not 100% on that but it's something to look into.
