testing v6 I found that the preference window cannot be displaced it is locked to the main window frame on the attached snapshot you can see that the window does not have its own frame top edge. The grey bar is the top edge of the main window frame

Continuing with the database being corrupted by editing versions placeholder, I relized that the search on the name a of specific version was returning all the versions because PSU as copied the metadata of my Monochrome photos to all of my versions.
