Database corruption

Post by babarnc »

Hello
Using version3001
I was versionning some images (color and Monochrome versions)
I decided to swap my main version (Black and White) with the color version:
I got quite a few errors: Every time I assigned a different version placehoder for the main photo I got an error message something like "no image/version selected" which obviouly was wrong.
And then I suddenly got an exception saying something like image id not in database. Since then the 2 images are gone from the database.
The database is very recent and I compacted no later than it yesterday. I send you the exception so you can review it.
So in the end I had to reload the files by verifying the folder.

Hello
I updated to version 3008 and now the images that were gone and reimported are present twice in the database.

So I removed one of the version pile from the database, which ended up in removing all color versions of the photo but only 1 photo in Monochrome version.
So I reimported the color version and while there is no more version pile, if I look for *dev.dng (the way I call monochrome versions of my photos) I can see all the ...dev.dng file but also the color version with no dev in the name.
Looks like there is an issue in the metadata of the photo or the database.
