I installed the new version (2024.2.2.6590) after my vacation, now the scrolling is really very smooth. Great work, Hert! :)
I work under Windows 11 Pro on a mobile Dell workstation (4k resolution).

I just tested this again, v2024.2, on a MacBook Pro 16". The scrolling issue has unfortunately not been fixed - even the slightest nudge on a trackpad causes a huge jump in scrolling (like "page down" as described above).

All of my other apps have the same scrolling feel, connected to the OS settings. It might seem like a small thing, but it would be such a huge improvement to the user experience if this could be fixed in a future update.

Great app otherwise, and really like the updates with facial recognition!

@randomphotoguy
sad news: no one is interested in these problems. The app "works" at Herts Display and all is fine.

Yeah, pitty.
I have the same issue in the Windows version. Different PC's, different laptops, different mice and trackpads. Makes no difference. Small touch of the weel or swipe on the trackpad and the scrolling gets crazy. Photo Supreme is the only app where this happens.

This is what a single mouse wheel "nod" does in PSU.
https://cp.idimager.com/support/videos/scroll.mp4

This is:
1. PSU everything at default
2. A standard Windows 11 install (200% scaling)
3. Mouse settings at Windows default
4. A Logitech MX mouse. Default settings.

As you can see, a single scroll scroll a little less than one line of thumbs.

If you see different results then these settings can influence the mouse behavior in Windows:

1. Your mouse settings in Windows (start with default settings)
2. Your mouse settings in some native mouse vendor driver (try without such driver)
3. Your display settings
4. PSU thumb zoom setting (start with 100%)

If you cannot get it to scroll as it does in the video that I shared above then please share a video to illustrate what you see and share your Windows mouse settings, your windows display settings, your mouse brand, your vendor mouse driver settings. That could help users here to identify why you get different results.
