Import to Catalog

I regularly add new photos to my PS catalogue: Shift-Cntl-I / Start Import.

My problem is that one of the subdirectories should be excluded from the import. I exclude it, and it each time I run the update routine it gets added back in to the catalogue. Is there any way to make this permanent? Any suggestions?

I believe that you should once use the dialog and choose save at the moment of import. I'm quite certain it will then stick (at least for me it does).
