So after a couple of years running the server version, I decide it wasn't for me and would like to switch back to the Single-User version.
Currently running v6 Server. Upgraded to v7 trial Server edition (yes, made backups).
I ran the application and allowed the database to be upgraded to v7.
Then installed v7 trial SIngle-User. Opened it once and closed it.
Ran the Data Exchange tool and converted the database from PostgreSQL to SQLite.
After the tool ran it gave me this message:
OK, so I keep going. Open PSu (single-user) and it appears my data is intact.
However my folders show red icons:
Weird that the top level and year level folders appear without the red icon, but below that (month and day levels) have it.
I tried to "Map to the Correct Physical Folder", and after a message that Folders were successfully mapped, nothing has really changed.
My external drive is connected and mounted.
I re-opened the server version and it has no issue seeing my folders, but for some reason the single-user version can not.
Server version mapping working just fine:
I suspect that error may have something to do with it, but who knows?
I haven't rebuilt thumbnails yet, but that shouldn't have anything to do with folders being mapped...
Can anyone help me?

Re: Upgrade to v7 & switch from server to single-user
Thank you for choosing V7.
Can you tell me:
1. What V6 build (the last 4 number of the version number) you had installed before (if you recollect)?
2. Are (some of) these folder symbolic links?
About the idSearchData error you got in the migration.
In case you want to rebuild all of your search data (note: this may take a while to complete) then run this script (hamburger->Tools->Scripter):
Again, this may take a while to complete, during which it may appear that the application installed.

Re: Upgrade to v7 & switch from server to single-user
Hert,
Server v6 was build 4216 (the latest, I believe) before upgrading to v7 Trial.1. What V6 build (the last 4 number of the version number) you had installed before (if you recollect)?
None of the folders are symbolic links.2. Are (some of) these folder symbolic links?

Re: Upgrade to v7 & switch from server to single-user
Would it be possible to send a copy of your cat.db file? No need for the thumbs db.
Best to upload a ZIPped copy to a cloud drive and send a download link to support@idimager.com
