Export Location Shown/Created

When I right-click -> Metadata -> Export Metadata to CSV File on photos, the data for the Location Shown (Iptc4xmpExt:LocationShown.Iptc4xmpExt) and Location Created (Iptc4xmpExt:LocationCreated.Iptc4xmpExt) fields are not being exported. Any idea why that might be happening?

Also, is there a way to export to a CSV file the labels that are assigned to photos?

Hi Robert, First of all a warm welcome to the forum.

(Iptc4xmpExt:LocationShown.Iptc4xmpExt) and Location Created (Iptc4xmpExt:LocationCreated.Iptc4xmpExt) fields are not being exported. Any idea why that might be happening?

Great find. LocationShown and LocationCreated are arrays of structures. PSU doesn't know which element to pick. Since you can't configure that the next update will always default to the first element, which will allow you to export such fields

Also, is there a way to export to a CSV file the labels that are assigned to photos?

If you use PSU with its standard settings then catalog labels are also in dc:Subject (Keywords). Select that in your CSV export.
If that doesn't provide all labels (e.g. when you have private labels and also want to export those), then try this:
1. Open Info Panel
2. Create a new Custom Field of type "Macro Field"
3. Use the macro: %CatalogLabelList
4. In the Export to CSV you can now select your newely created custom field
