Fair enough. I actually like some remaining elements of surprise - it builds the anticipation to the release.IDimager wrote:Thank you all for your kind words. I'm not going into details about the features at this point.Preston B wrote:Just curious, but what will current license holders of V2 need to do to upgrade, and what will be the cost?
Thanks, that's appreciated (although I'm still well within the 3-month grace period myself, at least for the next couple of weeks). The upgrade policy is outlined on the website and has been unchanged since the first PSU release; http://www.idimager.com/WP/?page_id=525
The "minimum 3 months" grace period will be stretched for this release.
Looks really good. I'm particularly glad to see the improvements to support DxO Optics Pro and Capture One. Also welcome will be drag and drop additions.IDimager wrote:This new release brings several innovative additions together with many enhancements and improvements to existing features. In total there are over 150 additions and improvements implemented.

Photo Supreme is the first DAM tool to offer this innovation. Once you're used to Multi Tab Browsing, you can't imagine ever doing without it.HaraldE wrote:"Multi Tab Browsing" is at the top of the listed new features. It is also the improvement that will make my life so very much easier.
I don't want to spoil the party, but I actually see "red eye reduction". (I know, there are companies out there who have no shame to say "removal" when they really mean "reduction", but I personally like it when someone tells it like it is. Nevertheless, we often read what we want or we're used to read - it happens to me as well.)HaraldE wrote:Further down I am very happy to see "red eye removal"
You know how I feel, now that you mention it? I feel like I'm trapped back in time, still using one of those antique Internet browsers without multi-tabs - and impatiently waiting for the multi-tab revolution to kick off. Frankly, I can't believe I had a web browsing life before multi-tabs (not to mention the days of Gopher or Mosaic) - it might turn out just the same for image browisng and catalogingIDimager wrote:Photo Supreme is the first DAM tool to offer this innovation. How would you explain the difference between red-eye-removal and red-eye-reduction?vlad wrote:I don't want to spoil the party, but I actually see "red eye reduction".
I was aware of that, and it also happened on my iPhone. In fact it's an issue in the Framework that I bought for the website content. They promised to fix it a long time ago, but I now poked into the framework scripts and fixed it myself (and now I've also got to remember to maintain it with every update(Speaking of web browsers: not a big deal, but the IDImager pages, including the V3 page, are not displayed correctly on my Android phone. But they look very good on a tablet or laptop.)
I think you should include that information in your marketing material, including this particular piece. In your description of multi tab browsing, change "switch" to "switching" for correct grammar.IDimager wrote:Photo Supreme is the first DAM tool to offer this innovation.
