I'm not entirely sure, I think you could do this with the following (can't test right now)
Example 1:
%FileName{word=1,,(}
where the character ( would be the separator and then take the first word from it
Example 2:
%FileName{left=5}
or {right=20}
%FileName{mid=4,10}

Just uninstall old versions or be careful?
Hello,
I'm currently cleaning up my configurations and the question arises, can I simply delete old PhotoSupreme (not 2024 version) installations or will this delete my " c:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\IDimager Systems, Inc\ " directory , which the newer versions also use.

Re: Issues with V2024 on startup
I started step B and “1 process” appeared briefly and then it disappeared again.
There is currently no indication that the hard drive or PSU is working. I'll wait a bit again in case there are still tests running in the background

Re: Issues with V2024 on startup
I did step B once, before the last update. Because it takes a long time, I didn't do it again after the update. Otherwise I can happily repeat it again

Re: Issues with V2024 on startup
I tried it again,
- this is not possible with the shift key,
without the shift key I have to wait a long time.
As I said, I've gotten through everything from A to A4 and no more jobs come through. I and PSU can no longer find any error in the data.

solved: Problem with the thumbnail display and its labeling

Thanks!
Without having changed anything, I have a problem with the thumbnail display and its labeling.
Apart from that, the last update was installed.

Re: Issues with V2024 on startup
I have carried out steps A to A4, but the behavior persists several times (at least for me). There are no more jobs in the background or error messages. The only thing left is to wait a long time and don't click anywhere beforehand.

Re: Issues with V2024 on startup
I also have the same problem with the new version; every time I open it I have to wait at least 30 seconds until I can click on something. If I click in front of it, PSU hangs.
I also had to redate all of my pictures from 1899, yes they exist, because otherwise PSU wouldn't calm down at all

PhotoSupreme 2024 hangs up - Addendum
Good morning, and thank you for the new version. I'm excited, especially about facial recognition. :D
I also bought and installed it yesterday evening.

Re: Swap folder colors via script
yes thanks, that came across right. Unfortunately I have more than 90000 pictures in many folders YYYY\MM\.
Going through it manually is just too time-consuming, unfortunately I used the colors to set a status that was just too confusing.
thank you for the effort

Re: Swap folder colors via script
too bad, but with the amount of folders I would be changing for a very long time. Then I leave out the colors, no matter how they are set now.
