Re: Script-based filters for filtering out sub-versions

Thanks, Vlad! I just ran this on 8500 images and got almost 900 results. I spot checked and it looks like the script worked fine. Most affected images have matching dates but the time is off (now I wonder how my workflow caused that to happen; most are scanned images, which I dated manually).

Once ...

Re: Script-based filters for filtering out sub-versions

I think Exif.Image.DateTimeOriginal should be compared (I'm not an expert on metadata but that looks right).

Unfortunately I don't know enough about the API to answer your second question -- hopefully someone else can.

Re: Script-based filters for filtering out sub-versions

Yes, the second implementation would be the most useful -- just one version thumbnail.

Thanks!

Re: Script-based filters for filtering out sub-versions

I would envision the filter working on any view. It would show only version sets in that view where the Date/Time Taken was not the same for all images.

With the way I use versions, all images in a version set should have the same Date/Time Taken, so I would use the script to find and correct mis ...

Re: Script-based filters for filtering out sub-versions

Thanks, I will use this.

Just a suggestion, another filter script that I've often wanted is one that filters version sets where the images in the set have different dates (date taken).

different photo dates within a version set

Is there a way to find version sets where the photos within those sets have different taken-on dates? Some of my pictures have incorrect dates and this would be an easy way to find them.

displaying version placeholder in thumbnail info

Can the version placeholder be displayed in the custom thumbnail info? If so, what's the code?

Thanks.

Re: searching for number of labels

That did the trick. Thanks
danaltick wrote:Doug,

Don't know of any way to do that; however, in the "View" menu on the far right under "Sorting", you can sort by number of Assignments (i.e. labels) all images in the collection viewer.

Hope that helps.

How to search for images with a certain number of labels

Is there a way to search for all images that have >X labels? I am cleaning up keywords, and searching for images with more than 30 labels would help me.

Thanks.

Re: corruption with labels?

The incorrect keywords are in the image metadata. My database was imported from IDImager, and all of the affected images I have seen so far were initially in IDI (but so are the vast majority of my images).

I've attached an affected file; the keywords beginning with wieringa.julie are incorrect ...

corruption with labels?

There are many images in my catalog with incorrect labels, and I am not sure how this is occurring. By incorrect labels, I mean the images have labels that I have not assigned.

- The image will have many, many labels -- 60 or so. Maybe 10-15 of these are correct. The incorrect labels are random ...

show album version by default

In Normal (i.e., thumbnail) view, is there a way to show the album version thumbnail by default? Currently the main version shows.

Thanks.
