Re: Frequent freezes while doing folder management - Mac
Unfortunately, I continue to experience these freezups, even after compacting the database and restarting my system. Frustrating, as it slows down my organizational process greatly.

Re: Frequent freezes while doing folder management - Mac
Here's another, possibly helpful, data point. I just did a Verify Folder on one of my content folders. In this case, because of some shuffling on my part, there were several folders that had been moved, so the Verify identified those folders for Removal. I clicked to proceed with the processing, and ...

Re: Frequent freezes while doing folder management - Mac
Simply download the trial and install it. That will upgrade the application. Some of the minor updates are not pushed through the update check, I think. Also there may be differences since you are on the Mac. However, I believe on Mac and PC the version numbers are the same.
Okay, I installed the ...

Re: Frequent freezes while doing folder management - Mac
How much RAM do you have on the machine? If you have other applications running at the same time as PSu, try shutting them down. It is possible you are running low on resources, and that could cause PSu to crash.

Re: Frequent freezes while doing folder management - Mac
A case in point. I just had it scan a folder where it found 5 newly added subfolders. It froze midway through the processing, so I had to force quit. I started the program again, and scanned the same parent folder. Three of the subfolders had been processed and it now found two remaining folders to ...

Re: Frequent freezes while doing folder management - Mac
I can import individual folders, and I don't think I have seen a problem with that. But if I add several subfolders into a parent folder and then try to process them via the "Scan for Missing Folders" feature, that is when the problem occurs. If it finds more that four or five folders to be added ...

Re: Frequent freezes while doing folder management - Mac
No specific file or folder. It happens frequently in different folders when I have added content (new subfolders) and then do a "Scan for Missing Folders"on the parent folder. The scan finds the missing folder(s) but then when processing the added folder(s) and the Activity window shows various ...

Re: Frequent freezes while doing folder management - Mac
It's not still working. It is dead. I have let it go for hours with no progress. There is a bug here. The only thing that helps is forcing it to quit and then restarting. Then it dies again after a short period. Rinse, repeat. This is a bug, a serious bug.

Frequent freezes while doing folder management - Mac
I am a long time user, and I am getting quite frustrated at the moment. I am using Photo Supreme to manage a fairly large number of photo art resources. I download collections of files into the categorized folder structure I use, then use the "Scan for missing folders" feature to ad the new content ...

Confused about folder import
I imported some images in a folder earlier this morning, and PS behaved as I expected - it added the folder to the FOLDERS view.
Then, later, I did the same thing, with a different folder of images, and it appeared the images were imported properly. But the folder they are in does not appear in the ...
