Re: Import can not create folder
Follow-up: it appears the folder path is fine, it's my renaming settings that are failing. It appears that when the file renaming fails, there was never even a folder created before that.

Re: Import can not create folder
Thanks for the sync hint. I misread the other post, file dates were OK, but entries messed up in PS. that stopped the repeated sync.
Import issue persists with same error message; no folders created, no images copied

PS6 very slow when folder is missing NAS connection
When a NAS drive is not connected, my PS gets very slow when loading (just timed an app restart with the missing connection at 58sec vs about 3sec otherwise) and any accidental touch of the missing drive in the folder tree turns into another waiting game.

missing webupdater
Photo supreme reminds me at program start that a new version is available. When I choose the option to update, an activity progressbar indicates the download of the update, but then I get an error message that "webupdater.exe" is missing, aborting the update.
thanks for any help

Re: Cascading meta information through version set
Oh, I missed your offer to create a script for this in your previous note. Yes, please, if you could write such a script, this would be extremely helpful.

Re: Cascading meta information through version set
I know, my trusted workflow requires that quirky step.
In my experience I have not found a raw converter that can convert ORF files with the same color perception as the original Olympus converter (Studio2)
so that's what I am using to convert to 16bit TIFF as a basis for all other edits. however ...

Re: Cloud archiving old photos
Thanks Hert,
excellent, your comment implies that any "thumb cleanup" (or other database management functions) will not mess up my scheme. without any further action, I should maintain my thumbnails in the DB and will be able to find old photos easily if I mirror the folder structure on my cloud ...

Cloud archiving old photos
Is there a way to maintain thumbnails of archived old photos in PS while archiving the physical old scans to a cloud storage/backup system.
Specifically I am currently moving all scans of old photos from 10years+ ago to Amazon S3 storage, and probably to Amazon Glacier very soon. With the Amazon ...
