Import can not create folder

My tried and tested Import settings suddenly fail to create a folder
Error message for each image:
Copy failed for J:\DCIM\100OLYMP\P3161176.ORF with error Failed on copy Cannot create folder Syntax error.Source position:
Directory does not exists (0)
restarted computer and/or PhotoSupreme [Build 2024.0.1.6290 (64bit)]
tried to pre-create the required folders, no success, same error message
was only able to copy external and then find/import the missing folders, but without naming script etc.

Add note: I have a similar issue as viewtopic.php?t=35115
On every start PS tries to sync a number of old images (ORF). If I start Import before that sync finishes, both processes freeze until I kill and restart PS
could not find any issue with the 'sync' files yet

Check if in the Timeline, there is a 1899 year entry or a 0 year entry. These ORF files probably are in one of these two dates. If so, try to redate teh files.

Thanks for the sync hint. I misread the other post, file dates were OK, but entries messed up in PS. that stopped the repeated sync.

The error that you list is from a script which is probably part of the Ingest profile.
Can you try to update to build 6295 first and try again?
Find the build in the Control Panel at https://cp.idimager.com

If it doesn't help..can you paste the script here?

tested build 6295, same error message and result.
script is an overstatement using Path and Filename tool, unchanged for many years and and IDimager versions

Follow-up: it appears the folder path is fine, it's my renaming settings that are failing. It appears that when the file renaming fails, there was never even a folder created before that.
