Hi,
Thanks for your helpful thoughts about videos and metadata. Recognizing this limitation, but still wanting some date information in my video files, I was hoping that the new version of PS would enable a file name recipe to write the "file created date" (i.e., the date shown in Finder) to the ...

Re: Date Created in Mac Finder vs PSU-Info Panel
Hi again,
I have a some new issues with this same topic. I'm trying to import some videos into PS, and they have the correct "created date" in their metadata fields when viewed in the file explorer. However, when I import them into PS, the dates don't transfer to the PS metadate fields, and the ...

Re: Loss of metadata when importing iPhone images
Hmmmm...not sure I follow. Here's a question that might help me understand if we're on the same page. If I use the Info tool to look at an image in the PS catalog, and the date says "2013:08:06 14:06:30" shouldn't the "Date Created" field in Finder also show that same date for this file? Currently ...

Re: Loss of metadata when importing iPhone images
Thanks for the thoughts. Yes, the images in the temp folder do, indeed, have metadata (this is what I meant when in my previous post I mentioned that the dates were correct in the temp folder). It's only when I use the PS Importer that it appears the dates are reset somewhere in the metadata. Oddly ...

Date Created in Mac Finder vs PSU-Info Panel
Hi,
I've recently been importing more iPhone 5s photos and videos to PS, and realized recently that after download, the "Date Created" has been rewritten as the date the import was conducted. Oddly, my import profile includes a renaming recipe with "YYMMDD" as a prefix, and this is correctly ...

Re: Making a copy of an image
Thanks! That was helpful. For some reason I hadn't seen the Share button...now I just need to set it up for Exchange and Gmail. Is there a way to have files sent to email auto-reduced in size?
Thanks
Thanks

Making a copy of an image
Hi,
I've recently shifted from Idimager to Photo Supreme, but am finding the lack of Help files frustrating. For example, I don't see any obvious way to simply create a copy of an image and save it as a version, or even simpler, as another image with a new name. I had to go to Finder (I'm on a Mac ...

Re: Does a win licence is ok also for Mac?
So, just a clarification on this issue. I currently own IDI Premium and run it on a Windows 7 machine. If I upgrade to PS on this machine, but then get a Mac in the next few months, I can exchange my Windows license for a Mac license at no charge? And, the database will transfer from Windows to Mac ...
