Number Next to Filename in a Thumbnail?

In thumbnails, there's a box with a number in it to the far right of the filename. Most thumbnails have a zero in that box, but a number of others have a number ranging anywhere from 1-9. What does that number mean, please?

That's the number of Catalog Labels applied to that image. If you roll over it you'll see the labels.

If your not sure of anything use Shift-Ctrl-T and then hover the Mouse over the item and the Tips will come up, or lower left corner "Help" menu has the info on various help items.
