I went out to photograph wild orchids yesterday. One species is called Große Spinnen-Ragwurz (Ophrys sphegodes). The images have the corresponding catalog labels:
Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
Why doesn't the PSU search for "spider orchid" find anything? This confuses me...

Jens,
better use Advanced Search
Maybe I'm wrong but I mean your search is wrong.
correct is - Spinnen-Ragwurz@xmp.dc:subject

Thanks Robert, but I don't understand what's wrong with my search.
How do you search for a hyphenated word in English in PSU? Your suggestion leads to a wrong search in German PSU.

"Spinnen-Ragwurz" is an exact search, but there is no exact match
Spinnen-Ragwurz becomes Spinnen NOT Ragwurz (hyphen is a NOT indicator)
The solution for the search bar is (note the space which means that both words must occur).

Robert is right: using Advanced Search is probably easier:
1. Press Ctrl+F to open the Advanced Search panel (Cmd+F on macOS)
2. Set the search field to Catalog Label Contains spinnen-ragwurz
