Details-View exhibits unpleasant behavior

If I begin editing Metadata in fields of the details view, PSU generates offers from a list of previous entries in this field after inputting the first 2-3 characters or numbers. If I do not select a text from the proposal list, the box that allows me to select the text proposal remains on the screen as a dark gray box in the foreground at the position where it appeared. Even when I scroll up and down in the detail pane, the box stays. This box remains in the foreground even when you switch to another application (such as the browser). This repeats for more metadata fields, so I'll end up with a bunch of black boxes that populate the details view and render it unusable. Only a restart of the PSU clears these boxes.
Tagging photographs with this unpleasant behavior is inconvenient and almost unusable.


My configuration includes MacOS Sequoia 15.0 and 15.1 (with no change in behavior after updating to 15.1).
For MacBook Pro with M2 processor and 64GB RAM, use PSU build 2024.2.2.6668 or previous versions. - German language settings
