In Floating Viewer setting, the Image Viewer always opens full screen

I just reported this in Mantis (3557), but I'm curious if anyone else has this issue.

I recently updated to 6576, and found the Floating Viewer is not working properly. The Image Viewer always opens full screen. I can exit full screen and resize the window. But after closing it, the next time I double-click on a photo, it opens full screen again.

Also, if I close the viewer while it is maximized, the app will soon “quit unexpectedly”. If I resize the viewer then close it, it doesn’t crash (at least it hasn’t yet).

This is on an iMac running the latest OS. Again, this only started with 6576. It worked fine before that.

Oh yes, same happening under Windows 10 as well
