reporting detail information
reporting detail information
I was looking in the Details tab at the various Technical data that has been gleaned from all of my images. Aside from transcribing the numbers manually, is there a way to have PSu export that data? Things like the Exposure time, Focal length, GPS lat and long, etc. It would be interesting to analyze those and many others to see how and where I make my images.
Re: reporting detail information
Can you not use the "Metadata|Export to CSV File" to select the fields you want and then dump to the CSV file chosen?
I also often dump the images to the "Display on Map" function to see how many and where the selected images were taken.

Good idea. A small test case looks good.
Tried to get the stats for the whole catalogue when I got message that I was limited to 250,000 images unless I had more than 4 GB of internal memory. According to Task manager, I have more than 8.9 GB available so I don't know where PSu is looking.

Did you know that you can add images to your post instead of linking from an external website? When attaching images to your post it will be displayed on the board as well. Linked Images from an external source are not displayed on the board.
Back on-topic; that 4GB mem size switch as reported in that message is incorrect (that is what it used to be until someone overloaded their internal memory and no way to restart PSU anymore).
You are not limited, your catalog is not limited, but the number of thumbnails that can be displayed in the Collection Viewer "as a single set" is limited by installed internal memory
With 16GB internal memory installed the max number of thumbs in the Collection Viewer is 250K images. The number of images in the catalog is of course not limited.
Apparently your catalog holds more that 250K images. In that case do your export in batches (eg per selection of folders) and merge the output files using a text editor.
