Every time I open PhotoSupreme 2024, it shows that it's rebuilding thumbnails. It seems like the same set each time (not all my images). I tried compacting the database to see if that would stop this, but the issue remains. There are also a couple of other activities that run (like General Services and Synchronize Service).
All the activity finishes in seconds, so it's mainly an annoyance (why are any updates needed when I haven't touched anything?). Is there a way to fix this?
Thanks!

Try checking for missing thumbnails here and then either delete or create thumbnails;
You might also check for corrupted files using States|From repository|With possible corruptionGeoff Mather (G8DHE)

Thank you for the reply, but I can't find either of the options you suggested.
Your screenshot shows a "+" icon for adding a new tab and a downward triangle which I'm guessing is how you invoked the "From Repository" menu. On my version of PhotoSupreme, I see the "+" but not the triangle.
Under "States", I don't see a "From Repository" category.
I'm using the Single User version of PhotoSupreme 2024.
Thanks!

Re: always builds thumbnails on startup -- 2024
If the drop down triangle is missing its because your not connected to the Internet when PSU was started, it collects those files from the Internet from the file repository site. There are a lot of script files available for use from the Scripter tool as well at https://repository.idimager.com/ You can also download those files and retain copies locally, so that when your out of range of the Internet you still have them available, just need to make sure that they are refreshed occasionally in case changes are made to the scripts.
On a slightly sperate point for Hert - I would love the ability to download all the scripts from the repository in bulk, as when I'm out and about at an event there isn't always radio coverage in a lot of my locations and I love to park with a great view but probably poor Mobile or WiFi coverage!

I'm connected now and still not seeing the triangle. I suspect this happens if you're not connected to the internet during installation.
Can you recommend some specific scripts?
Thanks again.

Also check your Preferences. You may have disabled the integrated Repository there

After turning on the Integrated Repository option, I can now see the triangle with the dropdown menu. Thanks Hert.
Running "Search Items without thumbs" turns up ~5K missing images. These are images that I removed outside of PhotoSupreme. What's the best way to handle this? Select All and then Delete?

I've also turned on integrated repository but I don't see the "Search Items without thumbs" option. I went to the repository and downloaded the script to a folder on my pc and tried to run it but nothing seems to happen when I do. A new tab opens but nothing shows up in that tab. How do I get that script to show up in the "from repository" list in the "State" tab?

Re: always builds thumbnails on startup -- 2024
I looked for it in the States section but it's not there. And I'm not sure it can be there. The only place I found it was via the downward triangle menu next to the plus sign when adding a new tab of images. I used it to locate an image without thumbs and it found one. Turns out it was a corrupt tiff which I had to delete. That problem was solved but now I have to figure out why tiffs sometimes get corrupted.tstoddard wrote: 30 Mar 24 14:15 I've also turned on integrated repository but I don't see the "Search Items without thumbs" option.
