How ugrade from V2023 to V2024?

Hi, I'm missing information on how to upgrade.
The installer of V2024 proposes install dir "Photo Supreme 2024", although V2023 is installed in it's own folder.
There is no hint of detection of V2023, seems like I could install V2024 in parallel - what I don't want.
So how is the process? How to upgrade and get rid afterwards of the old version?

1. Make a backup of your PSU-2023 catalog files
2. Install PSU-2024
3. Start PSU-2024. On startup it should find your PSU-2023 catalog and prompts to upgrade it
4. After the upgrade, verify the content
5. Close PSU
6. If all is well you can now uninstall PSU-2023

If the PSU-2023 catalog is not found then:
1.Start PSU-2024
2. In preferences -> General, enable the login dialog and apply the changed preferences
3. Restart PSU-2024
4. In the login dialog select the PSU-2023 catalog

A related upgrade question (albeit from V6).

We use a Run command to launch PS so that it points to a common folder to pick up profiles, etc. across windows logins (I just copied the entire PS folder to a shared location)

"C:\Program Files\IDimager Products\Photo Supreme 6/IDimagerSU.exe" -a "N:\IDimager Systems, Inc"

I presume (hope?) I will just need to point the run command at the v2024 .EXE location after the installation & all will be well.
