Or is it a feature for which I lack intelligence that some photos have the file name entered as the document title and some do not? The only logic that this behaviour follows is the lack of logic that runs like a red thread through the entire Photo Supreme.
Why is that? Any solutions? As I said before: my confidence in buying an upgrade is tending towards 0.

Many thanks in advance!
Random misbehaviour during import
Re: Random misbehaviour during import
As your video shows you:
1. Display the dc:title field under the thumb
2. The file not showing the file name doesn't have the filename in the dc:title either.
I don't know if you've entered a metadata profile during import, or that you imported the file as-is and the file already has XMP and the file didn't have dc:title in the XMP. PSU will only write the filename in dc:title when PSU created the XMP block.
To enter the filename in the metadata for one or more selected thumbs, enter %filename as the title in the metadata. When saving this macro will be replaced. Tip, right click in the title field to get a drop down with fields.
