I get these errors: Verification Service - updatefilehash ... (file not found)
When I look at the source folder, I can see and even open the image file.
Is the error talking about the catalog entry or is it blind to the source?

Re: file not found
Yes I get them occasionally was thinking that it might be the files are locked by other packages using them, but not sure.

Re: file not found
This is getting to be rather annoying. Can't leave PS running overnight to write meta data to unsynched files because it keeps having issues with not being able to open or find a file. Then everything stops until I click on OK.
Is there a setting that will eliminate the need to constantly click OK? Since there is no other option, it is rather pointless to have to do that!
And yes, PS is the only program accessing those image files. Could it be interfering with itself?
========================================= Now on build 6290
After clicking OK too many times, I decided to remove what appears to be the offending folder and its subfolders and re-import them all. Let's see if that stops this nonsense.
Spoke too soon. Right in the middle of the import, up flashes a message about not being able to open an image because the file is not found. Now how it can't find something it just imported is beyond me. and yet when I look in explorer, I see the jpg file just fine and can even view it.

Re: file not found
After removing the offending folder and re-importing the files in it, I'm still getting an occasional "cannot open file" "file not found" And this after they were just imported.
Can anyone come up with a reason why this even happens?

Re: file not found
A virus scanner or some other software that blocks access to the files?

Re: file not found
The drive with the images as well as the locations where the databases are stored are all excluded from the virus scanner. Don't see any other application looking at the images except when I go in with Explorer and open the image to validate that it's accessible.
After many clicks on OK, the problematic folder and its subs have finally been synched.
