Hi, I have the following problem with couple of latest PS builds: double click on thumbs in the very last line on a screen does not open preview if the last line is at the bottom of the screen. This happens for the basic or custom thumb view style. For the clean and framed styles double click on thumbs in the last line opens preview as expected.
Can anybody confirm this behavior?
Best,
Alex

Double click on a thumb not always opens preview
Re: Double click on a thumb not always opens preview
Just tried it here with the same setup (PS 7.1.5.4366 on Windows10 64) and it behaves normally for me.

Thanks for checking! I have forgotten to add that this happens only when the PS window is maximized or PS is in the full screen mode.
Re: Double click on a thumb not always opens preview
I have seen the failure to open preview on double click for at least the last 6 months of releases. It is very intermittent and impacts thumbnails on the first line or middle lines or anywhere. I have seen no pattern and happens regularly but infrequently. To overcome, I just click on a different thumbnail and then double click the original thumbnail to open, so easy to overcome.
I always use PSU windowised and am on PC windows 10.

Exactly the same behaviour for me but no matter if full screen or window mode (but I use PSU mostly in the full screen mode).gcorbin wrote: 12 Jun 22 7:14 I have seen the failure to open preview on double click for at least the last 6 months of releases. The only solution is what gcorbin wrote above - click on different image and then try again with the original image. It may be easy to overcome but this issue is very irritating since it re-appears quite often when processing multiple images.
Re: Double click on a thumb not always opens preview
I've also experienced this intermittently. Unless I need the preview to help with tagging, I prefer to use CTRL-Y to view the image full screen, which is 100% reliable.
Re: Double click on a thumb not always opens preview
I forgot to add, pressing enter will also correctly open the image from the thumbnail. Only double click doesn't work.
Re: Double click on a thumb not always opens preview
In my case this happens only for thumbs in the last line of a collection/folder if this line is at the very bottom of the PS screen. Thumbs from other lines can be previewed by double click but clicking on them does not help to open those from the last line.

I have the same experience on PS 7 Mac version.yar wrote: 14 Jun 22 12:40 In my case this happens only for thumbs in the last line of a collection/folder if this line is at the very bottom of the PS screen. Re: Double click on a thumb not always opens preview
Update: double click does not work in the last line only if there are version sets in a folder or for a given label. if there is no version sets everything works as expected.
