Reorder External Editors

Is there a way to reorder the list of External Editors in Preferences? The only way I have found is to delete them and then reassign in the preferred order?

Left click on the final column in the editor list (in the preference dialogue "other settings"), the column that has a double-headed up/down arrow; options will pop up for move up/move down.
