Thumbnails disappear on Mac

Post by Brent M »

My thumbnails keep disappearing. I see the file information, but the picture is just blank. The only way to get them back is to exit Photo Supreme and restart it. I have also noticed that when I exit Photo Supreme, I need to force quit. It just started doing this. I use a MacBook Pro computer, running Mojave.

Do you have any ideas how to solve this?

Hello Brent

Are you running the single user version?
Which version/build are you on? 1910 was just released.
I’m on 10.14 on the MBP and 10.13 on my Mac mini and I’ve not seen anything like this.

Anything in the system logs regarding idimager?
PSu Server 2024 & Postgres 15 on macOS 14
PSO 6 on Windows Server 2022

I’m on 10.11.6 (El Capitan) on the MBP single user version PSu. OK here. Is this for isolated images or for all?
Never say never change, but using Mac since 2005. Photo Supreme 3.3.0.2605. I endorse the interoperability of files between applications and systems.

I am on Mojave 10.14.2.

I have traced the issue to when I delete a folder from within Photo Supreme. Once I do this the thumbnails are not visible, and when I quit Photo Supreme, it does not close all the way...I need to Force Quit.

If you delete a folder of images on your hard drive or just delete them from the PSu database, what would you want or even expect to see thumbnails?

About needing to force quit, I cannot help.

Of course I wouldn't be able to see thumbnails of photos that were deleted.

Once I delete a folder using Photo Supreme, then none of my photos in my library show up in the thumbnails. If I double click the blank thumbnail, the photo opens, but all the thumbnails are blank.

Same here.
And deleted pictures can't be seen, but not deleted are also blank.
And the "Removing/Deleting a folder" in PSU takes minutes.
