Is there a way to download the manual?

Hi all..from Nedsez ,,,,,Is there a way to download the manual?
I ask as I have just returned from a 4 week photo holiday out of range of wifi and have really struggled with-out the use of the help manual.

I believe that about every browser allows you to save pages or store content offline. Maybe that's an option for you?

After many years of using IDimager I have and most others have been very happy with your wonderful help and customer contact.
Now since Photosupreme I have noticed a gradual change and i am afraid your answer to my asking about if we can download the manual comes over as
'tough look, you won't get any help here'
I,m sure many other users would also find a down load of the manual useful.


If anyone has a full download of the instructions perhaps you could share it around?

Sadly I think maybe its time for me move on if I can not use the help files in out of the way places where there is no internet access.

There is no easy method of doing that that I have found using Firefox, which is renowned by photographers. The best that I have been able to come up with is saving each web page one at a time, which is cumbersome, to a text file. Perhaps I have overlooked something.

"Save Page As..." from the File menu, with "Save as type" = "Web Page, complete" will do it (but it doesn't seem possible to redirect PSU's menu to the locally saved copy). Hert, it should not be necessary to do this, and it seems quite incompatible with your desire to maintain a simple experience for the user.

Thanks, Jim! That works fine for me and seems sufficient. To be very precise when using Firefox, the method is to right click anywhere on the webpage that displays the Table of Contents. Then using "Save as type" = "Web Page, complete" does the trick. The manual is now on my local hard drive, though it won't be updated there of course until I save an updated version at some point in the future.

Whoops! When I wrote ".... from the File menu" I was forgetting that having a File menu requires the menu bar to be displayed and this is an option that is off by default. Right click is the way to go!

To access the command/menu bar in IE or Fire fox, press the 'Alt' (Opt' on Mac) key.

Chrome and Opera may be the same, but I don't know since I have neither of those browsers.

Hi Jim and others..... Thank you so much for your help.
Now I have the complete manual saved and can open it when I wish without or while using Photosupreme without being on the web.

I suggest to Hert that this feature should be combined in the normal download of the program.

It seems that this software publisher is not aware of the importance of a good user's manual; it is just as important or more so than the actual software. Their help submission is lacking in many respects - don't bother to print it out, there's nothing in it, not for complex piece of software. I am going to try going to old idimager manuals to see if I can find some help there. Also note, that you don't truly possess a piece of software unless you also possess it's manual. Readers, let's make a big stink about this.
