Hello together,
is it possible to use the lighttable in a two monitor setup on a second monitor?
Best Regards

There is no dual monitor support in PSU.

Re: Lighttable
Hello Hert,
I'm not a professional photographer, but I'm using this feature always when working with IDI and I can imagin that this is necessary feature for professional photographers.
Only viewing at PSU for two days I think that PSU isn't for semi pros and pros as IDI is, but is build as one more DAM application for massmarket with cutting many features some other people at this forum and me where glad to have using IDI.
Best regards
Georg

Re: Lighttable
Oh, you got that wrong. PSU is not an *upgrade* of IDI....it's a different product for a different market. You should stop comparing IDI to PSU and start looking at what PSU offers instead of looking for what it doesn't offer. And if it doesn't meet *your* needs then stay with IDI, it won't stop working just because it is discontinued.gkaudewitz wrote:<snip> but is build as one more DAM application for massmarket

Re: Lighttable
Hert ...
You are probably aware that just because IdI-5 can technically keep 'running' does not mean that, for very long at least, it will be usable for many of us. Camera and operating system upgrades blow out the usability of any unsupported program ... and sometimes, rather quickly.
Losing the file-management capabilities of IdI-5 AND the versioning abilities ... wow. Those were for me two of the main reasons to choose IdI over anything else. You got those RIGHTEOUS. For handling our studio's deep-archives, it was ... good.
For now, it is still operable. But as soon as we either change OS or cameras, it's ... dead. We won't be able to just keep using it ... and relying on your marvelous ability to chase things down when we hit a snag.
Yea, PhSup IS a different program, I think we all get that. It's frustrating that you are totally unwilling to actually share with anyone just WHAT PhSup's capabilities are, but that's your choice. Without file management and good versioning, however, there's no reason for me to look into it further. Sadly.

yes PSU is an other program than IDI but for Your company it would have be better perhaps to redesign IDi with it's features than discontinuing IDI.
For the users there is no other way than comparing IDI and PSU because IDi is discontinued and no more under further development. The customers have to have a look for a product that fits their needs or to give You some input for the further development of features in PSU.
