Raw/JPG Pairs

Post by tvandawalker »

I mostly use CaptureNX2 to process my nef files. As a result many of my disk folders have both the raw and the jpg of the same name. IDimager does the correct pairing when injesting fine, but once the images have been injested I can't seem to find a way to view only the jpgs or only the raws. Is this possible? there are cases where I want the raws cataloged but don't want to view them.

Thanks,
Tim

I think at ingestion you did not choose to make a version set of these, otherwise they would have been stacked in the CV.
You could use the filter bar (top-right) to filter by file type.

The issue is that they ARE stacked and I would like to unstack them temporarily but can't figure out how.

Mouse-over the tabs in the right side of the thumbnail until version info slide out. Click the white X to remove the version from the version set. To see the change you will have to click on another folder or label and then back again.

Lars,
Click the white X to remove the version from the version set.
From his initial post I gather that Tim does not want to break up the version set, but view a specific version.

Hi All

There is presently a Mantis Ticket out there to enable you to Click on the catalog Version Set tree. and then click on the "JPG" version set on the left and that will then show all JPG versions.

You could then add that to the Dynamic Search and then return to the catalog label / time line / folder etc and use that in combination.

That will then allow you to see all "JPG" versions with the Catalog Labels "xxyyzz"

Would this help ?
