[resolved in update 2025.0.3.7434] PSU 2025 >Details >Focal length >> no display of images

I only see a number of images with this focal length, but no image. Is that really how it should be?

Nope I get the images matching the entry, as would be expected!

Don't know if this will help, but try opening a new tab and then try it.

An issue I often have is something similar to this where I click on a folder and the contents do not show. Refreshing doesn't help either. I create a new tab, click on the folder, and there it is. Whether this is your issue or not, well, it's easy to try.

Change tab and it will be displayed - I've known this strange PSU behavior since older versions. Unfortunately, it doesn't help here.

I created a new tab in >Details with just 50mm focal length, and everything remains empty there too.

I've just tried a few things again in >Details.
The images are displayed everywhere, except for Focal Length....

What do you think could be the reason for this? (It worked for me in the 2024 version too, I'm sure of that.)

Even though it's not nice for us, manusz, luckily I'm not the only one with this problem.

By the way, it still occurs in the update 2025.0.3.7427 that I just installed.

OS is Win 11 Pro (with all current updates).

I use NordVPN. Since it could theoretically be the cause, I deactivated the entire VPN and all functions >> No, Focal Length still doesn't display any images. I'm therefore ruling out NordVPN.

I think it's an bug in PSU or the database.

My setup is identical, except being an M4 Mac mini, and I do not have this problem. I just wanted to eliminate this as a potential issue, unless it is M1 vs M4.

The current update 2025.0.3.7434 solved the problem, now all images for the relevant focal length are displayed (again).

I intentionally wrote this here in the user to user forum, because it could also have been that I had set something up incorrectly myself.

However, an Apple user also reported the same problem, so an operating error on my part could be ruled out.


@Hert: Even if this note is extremely important to you, the color and size of the note hurts my eyes......

I'm having the same issue with GPS Longitude and Latitude in the details section. Nothing appears when I select them despite there being numbers listed next to it.

P.S. With v 7454 on Mac.

Oh yes and its happening on Windows, count shown but no images appear running on Win11 or Win10 with version 7434. Latitude, Longtitude, ISO speed, Metering mode (one very odd entry does work!), Colour space, Colour mode, Orientation but only the Normal entry other show images, Flash info varies some do some don't are also suffering the same fate

EDIT: Also happening in 7454 version guess better report it direct as well

Further to this there seems to be oddities going on, not sure of cause but the after reading the metadata from a small sample of images back into the database all the fields seem to have been corrected, odd ..... but it seems happy now.

FWIW, In my case, I see only Lat/Long impacted by the "count but no images" bug for 7454. (Reported same to TechSupport
Always good to do a compact database just in case. YMMV
