v2025 build 2025.0.2.7404 (A.64bit) Mac Studio
When rotating thumbnails 90 degrees left, the "[" bracket rotates them 180 degrees left every time, resulting in a need to rotate them RIGHT with "]" bracket, which rotates the required 90 degrees to get thumbnail in proper orientation. I do not see any settings controlling this and it does require additional steps any synchronization time for each operation.
Anny thoughts will be appreciated
thanks

Rorate thumbnails to left with "[" bracket rotates 180 degrees
Re: Rorate thumbnails to left with "[" bracket rotates 180 degrees
That typically points to a mismatch between the image pixels and the different levels of metadata; for example: the orientation in Exif doesn't match with the orientation in XMP (some RAW editors have this issue where they only update Exif and forget to update XMP).
To fix this, you can try to change the orientation in the Image Details -> Technical. That will only update the metadata. After that update the thumb manually with Ctrl+Alt+T (Win) or Cmd+Opt+T (mac)

Thanks Hert. I will dig into that. The images associated with this issue most recently are from a Sony RX100Va, so it may be camera specific. These images were first "seen" by PSu and not previously manipulated by other software.
