Unable to save metadata to Oly TG5 files

This is ONLY happening (to my knowledge) with Olympus TG5 (tough) raw files. The user manual states that "ORF" files are supported, but perhaps not ALL of them. I can (and have) imported them into catalog with "keywords" assigned in earlier / other software. Those keywords are visible as expected in other software. BUT, when I clear those keywords (labels) from a test set of older files - OR - capture new files from this camera, the labels newly assigned work fine in the PSU database, but do NOT appear in other software. This includes after "Save Metadata to File". When I try "Convert Metadata to XMP" I get error message "Batch Convert Metadata to XMP raised Errors - followed by date/time/filename "Access violation (0)".

I have basically retired this camera, so if this never works I can live with it, but clearly, this does not seem like intended behavior and it would be useful to know a solution if it occurs with a different camera in the future.

As a "newbie", I have had exceptional support from Hert via email but thought this might be something the forum has knowledge of and can share with other potential users.
