Hello,
I've got a number of images from an iPhone (but as JPEG, not HEIC), which contain also "Selfies". Unfortunately the selfies are stored in a mirrored mode, I assume this is important for narcisstic people. But I would like to mirror it back (to be able to e.g. read the text on the T-shirt).
I know, that I can open every image in the editor mode an apply the vertical mirror. But this requires a bigger number of clicks (for each image).
Are there any faster options to apply this lossless operation? (Scripts, other mass operations).
Also a similar feature like the rotate-buttons on the overview page would be helpful.
Thanks in advance
Martin
Fast way to mirror a number of images
Re: Fast way to mirror a number of images
Yes, use the Batch function. Create a new batch, click the plus button to add a command, select Flip Vertical. Select the photos you want to apply it to, then Run Batch. You can create a similar batch job for rotating.

Thanks roddyt for drawing my attetion to the Batch features, which I have not used so far.
Sadly, I was not successful with the batch (I tried a bit with and without an output folder, with and without the flag "Import output files").
But I found another way. In the Details I found the Orientation for the problematic images with the value "Normal Flipped". The following procedure seems to work

But I found another way. In the Details I found the Orientation for the problematic images with the value "Normal Flipped". The following procedure seems to work
- Mark some of the images
- Set in Details the value from "Nomal Flipped" to "Normal"
- Click "OK"
- Re-create the thumbnails with Ctrl+Alt+T
- PhotoSupreme
- Windows Explorer
- XnView MP
