Re: Problem syncing .TIFF files
I don't think any of these reasons are the cause:Hert wrote: 14 May 24 10:30 Can you share the sync write settings?
Also check that the catalog labels that you assigned to this image are (a) not in a private category, and (b) the catalog label is configured to write as a keyword
All keywords are identical, I can also rename any file via PSU (so PSU has access). However, certain files cannot be written. (By the way, there is now the "red status LED" on the non-writable file again; this file can no longer be synchronized after being renamed - it always remains "unsynchronized" in PSU):

Re: Problem syncing .TIFF files
I would like to send you this one picture (which cannot be synchronized for me) and one from the same series (which works) so that you can hopefully understand my problem. Can this be made possible?
Re: Problem syncing .TIFF files
Of course.

Re: Problem syncing .TIFF files
After a quick question, Hert: Is it possible to go back to the penultimate PSU version? Would it be possible for you to please send me the download link for it?
I just want to eliminate any possibility of error for myself. (Don't worry, I'm really not an idiot in Windows, I know my way around really well.) A problem that with two apps that do similar things in the same file, one can do it (EXIFGui) and the other can't at the moment ( PSU) is very, very strange. What is also critical is that PSU works (the activity display at the bottom left runs like it used to with CTRL+S) but does not produce any error messages:
However, the file date of the file to be synchronized is still the same as two days ago and there are NO keywords in the JPG.
I think you should also check this image with an ASCII viewer. Take a completely new keyword and write it into a JPG. PSU does this and displays it in the catalog - but you cannot find the keyword in the file itself. (But it has to be a newly imported file, it works with old files......)
I would be very grateful for a link to the penultimate version. You have my email address - or you can load this older PSU version into one of my cloud links that I sent you.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Problem syncing .TIFF files
I have just installed the build 6408 (single user, Windows 10) and it does not synchronize jpg files. Files are versioned together with corresponding cr3 raw files. Sidecar xmp files were created by the build 6399 but jpg ones were not synchronized.
Re: Problem syncing .TIFF files
Please update to build 6410. Hope that helps

Re: Problem syncing .TIFF files
Build 6410: Now everything works again, the two examples helped.
Thank you Hert, you make my day.
Re: Problem syncing .TIFF files
Hert, thank!
Build 6410 works as expected.

Re: Problem syncing .TIFF files
6408 did not seem to help, but 6410 fixed the issues!
Thanks again Hert.
And also to you guys who tested their copies and helped troubleshoot (JensSteyer, yar).
