I'm struggling with the display order of files in version stacks. My process is RAW, then convert to DNG, then edit and save as JPG. I would like my version stacks to display the RAW if it is the only file, the DNG if it exists, or the JPG if that exist. My version stacks always show the RAW on top then DNG then JPG, which is the time order of the files. Basically the opposite to what I want. I've tried setting a custom Main Version Detection Method "*.JPG, *.DNG, *.*" but that doesn't seem to do anything.
Is there a way to do this?
File Order in Versions
Re: File Order in Versions
I suspect the Detection Method only plays its part when creating new ones, I suspect it won't go back and reorder existing ones unless told to.. Might be worth selecting a few and then delete the versioning and recreate with the new settings ?

You are right. Destroying the stack and recreating them gets the desired result. It's a workable work around for me. Thank you for the pointer
