Thumbnails suddenly not showing up

Just in the past two days the majority of my thumbnails don't show up. I can select all of the thumbs for a particular folder and Rebuild Thumbnails and they show. I can then go to another folder and do the same thing. Coming back to the first folder they are now blank. I performed a complete db and thumbnail compacting with no change. (Double clicking on the blank thumb opens the file okay.)

Build 2024.0.2.6337, but happened with previous build before updating today also.

Not quite the same, but I have a hunch that there could be an issue. On a couple of recent occasions I've moved files between folders and found the thumbnails blank, rebuilt them, switched tabs, then returned and found them blank again. I'm waiting for it to happen again to see if I can identify the circumstances, as most of the time there's no problem and I can't repeat it.

After a few days, everything is back to normal. Didn't do any that I can point to that resolved the issue.

I am still experiencing this issue. Running build 2024.0.2.6355 on a MacBook pro 2024 with 16GB Ram.
It appeared recently, I have not made any significant changes in my images / database

Does anybody else suffer from this?
Any suggestions?

Happens to me as well. I'll have 4 or 5 tabs open and switch tabs and there won't be any thumbnails. A restart of the app restores the thumbs but it always end up happening again. On a Mac also.
