Regular problems with importing

Post by mwdnr »

When importing, the progress bar regularly stops at various points. Progress information is no longer visible.

Yes, I have compressed the catalog beforehand; I do this more often than I work with Photo Supreme.

Any Solutions? As far as I can see, at least the most rudimentary functions of the software should work, even if it is otherwise more on a par with Windows ME.

For exciting moving images (keep an eye on the clock, that's all that happens): https://mwdnr.cloud/index.php/s/bKSDYPwksKCjFfy

I am now on 2024. Is this the last build of the 2023 version? There used to be 2-3 builds that had exactly this problem.

Thank you very much for your answer!

[Edit]: yes, it is the last 2023 build (in this capture for Mac M2, in former usage the builds for Intel-Mac)

Unfortunately, all 2023 builds had this problem. Sometimes 2 or 3 imports worked, but at the latest after that this problem (really) always occurred.

Although Photo Supreme could be installed under macOS 10.15, I wanted to wait until I switched to a more powerful Mac with macOS 14 this year before contacting the community with this misbehavior of Photo Supreme.

Unfortunately, this is just one of many shortcomings of the software, so I absolutely lack the confidence to invest even a single dollar in another version of this software.

Ich think the best way you can do is contact Hert.
I've already had very tough arguments with him. But we always came to a solution.
I don't think it's so easy to find DAM software on Mac at the moment.
