Hello.
When using preview on 2nd monitor, once preview is activated, it remains active even if active thumbnail is changed. However when changing folder or category or album, preview is turned off. It has to be reacivated with a double click or enter key. Is it possible to leave the preview active for the entire PS session?

PS functionality - 2nd monitor
Re: PS functionality - 2nd monitor
There is no option for that. When you open another set of images then no image is selected, hence the viewer is closed.

Re: PS functionality - 2nd monitor
Hi Hert.
I keep diving into PS deeper and deeper - I like the software, but this issue of the Viewer getting closed on change of set is really annoying. Is it possible to include this issue in future updates? It would be greatly appreciated. All other applications deal with this by automatically selecting the first picture in newly selected set/file.

I also find this annoying. To my mind the viewer should display the last selected image until another image is selected and not close when you select a different folder. Ideally it would be good if the behaviour was configurable.

This is changed in build 4898. You can download it from the website or control panel.

Re: PS functionality - 2nd monitor
Thank you for your quick fix Hert. I just installed 4898 and now the viewer is not closed when navigating between different folders. I just hope that you don't get complaints from users that don't like this behaviour.
