PS functionality - filmstrip view

Hello.
I'm new to PS, migrating from LR6.14, last unsubscribed version. LR is an excelent piece of software, but because my latest cameras are not supported, needed to look for alternative. There is no way i'll be renting any software instead of owning it.
Among many candidates PS seems to be the most comprehensive, even surpassing LR in some areas. However there are certain features in LR that I can not recreate in PS, and I miss them a lot. It might very well be my lack of knowledge of intricasies of PS, hence I don't use it to the fullest. This is why I'm here, asking for help. To keep the forum focused, I'll be submitting seperate post about features I'm interested in, asking you guys for guidance on how the best to configure my workflow to get expected results.

No 1 - film strip view. I'm using 3 monitor setup, and tried different combination of tabs, preview, light table, etc. But could not get productivity equivalent to filmstrip, while culling. Would appreciate any advice on best setup for culling...?

The closest thing that I can think off is to open the viewer on the second monitor (see preferences). The thumbs then stay on the first monitor

Thanks Hert, this what I’m doing. But with large number of pictures to cull, moving one’s sight back and forth between 2 monitors becomes tiresome. Are you planning on including filmstrip view into PS?

Does the Light table give you what you need, just hit delete key and choose type of deletion, or right cursor onwards ?

Hi Geoff. The Light Table in combination with the Quick Select feature works almost like a film strip view!! Good idea. Still, need to do some marking which Light Table doesn't allow - other than obviuos deletions, I'm sorting remaining photos in 3 different categories. Have to work on it. Thanks...
