Color label problem

Hello.
When assigning a Color Label through a Label side panel, entire label is assigned (Red, Green, etc). However when using shortcut via upside down triangle displayed on the thumbnail, only the first letter is assigned (R, G, etc), and actual color is not assigned to the thumbnail. Filtering through the Color criteria selects both (Red and R), but thumbnail with the R label remains gray instead of red. It's unfortunate, as the triangle shortcut would be very useful if worked properly.
Is it a bug, or I'm missing something in the setup?

You can configure the color strings in the Preferences -> Catalog -> Color Label Names

Thanks Hert, but it's not the issue. Label names have been configured in Preferences (Red, Green, etc) and, if assigned using side panel Details tab, everything is fine. Problem is when assigning label by clicking upside down tringle on the thumbnail itself, and using hamburger menu. Only the first letter of a label is assigned this way, and no color is indicated on the thumbnail. Hope this is clear description.

In the default configuration then you would assign color labels from the thumb like this (3). I've also illustrated how to configure the thumb as the default (1 and 2).
