I'm trying to search within a specific folder for all images taken in Portugal. Some of them are labeled "Lisbon" which is a child term of Portugal.
When I click the filter button and choose "Portugal" in the dropdown list in the Label field it does not return the Lisbon images.
If I type "Portugal +2023" in the search bar it returns all Portugal files including Lisbon correctly. I just found the "Current collection" filter in the search bar to that is even better.
Can I get the first method to work? Is there a key combination to include all child terms? How can I find all images NOT Spain?
Search for terms included in a parent term
Re: Search for terms included in a parent term
You cal Alt+Click on a catalog label to get the NOT result. This applies to all items in the Catalog Tree Explorer (left side) as well as in the filter drop down
There's currently no key+click to get a hierarchical result (like clicking on the counter in the Catalog Tree) in the filter bar. In the next update that will be Ctrl+click (Windows) / Cmd+Click (macOS)

Re: Search for terms included in a parent term
I'll wait for the next update. Meantime the other workaround is to use the dynamic search. I dragged my Feb 2023 folder and the ALT clicked in Spain in the categories pain and dragged it down too. It works.
Thanks.
Thanks.
