Hi Hert,
any advice on how to best install version 8?
Can PSU 2023 simply be installed in the same folder as version 7?
What is the best way to completely replace version 7, while keeping all my custom settings?
I am asking because, given that I am using a lot of customization, I have had problems with most major release to get my settings back the way I wanted.
Thanks,
Frank

Frank, just install in the default folder. Setting are either in the database or in the app-data folder…never in the installation folder

Just installed 2023 (into the same folder as previously version 7). Works great and has some nice additions.
Congrats.

BUT...
In folders my versions are now AGIAN always displayed as a single stack and not side-by-side, despite having set this in Preferences to "As set in Categories"....

Please, I need the option to be able to see all versions side-by-side in folder view. One of the previous updated of 7 had that removed as well and now it is again gone. Why? What is the use of versions, if I cannot side-by-side see what versions are in a set (at least in folders)???

Thanks...

Ok, I take it all back. After a few restarts and playing with filters, it now is all back to normal.

PS - I really like the different bookmarks, much nicer than only the heart.
