Color management not working?

Post by Bobbert »

The first is the original tiff image displayed in my editing program.

The second is the same image as displayed in PSU 7. In addition, if I simply click on the the image in PSU it turns to a purplish color cast far greater than the original tiff.

I have color management setting set to sRGB for both input and output.

What is going on here?

You mention setting the Input and Output profile to sRGB. That is correct.

In this case. you probably have an embedded color profile in the TIF's metadata and that will always be used.

If you can share a link to a sample picture then we can help.

Ahhh Got it. There IS an export color space in Exposure X7 that I can change to sRGB if you think that is the best way to go.

I just tried it out and the result is much better. And since my Epson printer uses sRGB anyway I'm perfectly happy to stay there.

Can PSU recognize any other color spaces than sRGB and adobeRGB?
