Cascading stacks

Post by germie »

Hi all,
I ran into the following problem:
- I create a stack in 7.2.0.4414 and assign keywords and rating to one of the stacked files. Say x.nrw. The other file in the stack is x.jpg.
- Now I go to the stack menu of x.nrw and hit "cascade thisd item's metadata to full stack"
- In the following window I select "Cascade image details" and "Cascade Ratings" and hit OK
- then it shows me a dialog "Select Items to cascade to" and below that: path\x.nrw (that should be path\x.jpg I think)
- When I hit either OK or yes to all it returns a dialog "No items selected" and nothing gets cascaded.

Am I doing something wrong here?

Kind regards from Holland

Hi all,

I just noticed, my download from the control panel (server PostgreSQL) is still at 4414 right now. The server version for SQL server is at 4421. Is that intended to be so?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Kind regards from Holland

That is correct.
There is no build 4421 for PostgreSQL

Thanks Hert for the latest update. Cascading stacks works well now.
Am I me or is the performance of 4428 snappier than 4414?

Thanks for the feedback. The latest build should indeed be snappier
