Tag keywords by rescan??

I have imported two folders and they included a number of keywords from my keyword list from Capture One. These were picked up correctly and converted to labels in PSU. I have now imported my entire keyword list that I use in Capture One. Question - is there a way by rescanning, if that is even possible, for my newly imported keyword list to be tagged with the number of images for each keyword? OR is this imported keyword list just static and used for selecting the keywords for the images and only the Catalog Labels are created? The manual is blank on this issue.

I should have noted that I was in the Categories section where it show the number of images for each label.

Are the keywords in your image files hierarchical keywords? If so then the hierarchy will return on import automatically.
How did you import your keyword list?
Is your keyword list a hierarchical list?

In general, if your file have flat keywords then on import the flat keywords will be matched with the keywords in your Catalog Structure. In other words: import your keyword list before importing images. If your files already have hierarchical keywords then this of course won't be needed as I assume that the hierarchies in the images will then match your keyword list.

Yes they are in hierarchical order in a hierarchical list. I had initially used a Lightroom style list in Capture One and just exported this same list.
I can see that it is in hierarchical order in PSU.
Since I had previously imported a couple of folders and later imported the list I was wondering how the keyworded images from the prior folder import could be reflected on the new list.
