AI, batch labelling: different labels/tags in a whole batch

Post by BananaJoe »

Hi,
i was searching a software with AI autotagging of my huge photo archiv. Found photo supreme, installed it yesterday and i think, this could be the solution!

But: for example, i've got a folder full of pics of my holiday, where i was surfing, went to a museum, trekking, something like this. When i mark all pics of the folder and then AI, i will get pretty fast tags which fits good to the whole batch... but, what i have to do, to get those datas, with an automatic sorting for each pic to the meta files?
For example:
pic 1: surfing
pic 2: car museum
pic 3: trekking

catalog/labels: ocean, surfing, beach, vintage car, museum, mountain, nature, trekking
(something like this)

I only found the solution by clicking
"find and assign all catalog-label" (translated from the german version, maybe differs a little to the original engilsh-one)
So:
pic 1: surfing |Labels/Tags: ocean, surfing, beach, vintage car, museum, mountain, nature, trekking
pic 2: car museum |Labels/Tags: ocean, surfing, beach, vintage car, museum, mountain, nature, trekking
pic 3: trekking |Labels/Tags: ocean, surfing, beach, vintage car, museum, mountain, nature, trekking

What i have to do to get:
pic 1: surfing |Labels/Tags: ocean, surfing, beach,
pic 2: car museum |Labels/Tags: vintage car, museum,
pic 3: trekking |Labels/Tags: mountain, nature, trekking

...and is this directly written to the metafiles?

Thanx a lot!!

A warm welcome to the forum.

Not sure what your question is. Is your question how to do the AI detect in batch? In that case:
1. Select the images
2. Click Batch in the lower command bar
3. Add the batch effect AI Label Detection

Then run the batch.
...and is this directly written to the metafiles?
That depends on your Sync settings in the Preferences. By default changes are sync'ed automatically.

Aaahhh... o.k.... simple... but not, if you are at the catalog-label-area... :-)
Thank you very much!
Seems like this, but at the moment, i can't see all the labels, shown in Photo Supreme in the Metadata of the pic... Maybe to much pics, to slow laptop... i will test again and wait.

Please, also upgrade to the latest version. There was an issue with this in earlier versions. Also read this topic viewtopic.php?f=57&t=28035
