face recognition workflows

Post by bwbecker »

I understand that Photo Supreme does not include facial recognition. (1) Are there any plans to include it in the near future? (2) In the mean time, are there any recommended workflows to make use of other (ideally inexpensive) tools?

I currently use Lightroom only for face recognition. This works really well and recognizes almost all photos of me.
In PSU I go through the individual pictures and push from the right panel (Assign) the people directly on the faces. Is very complex but I do not know a better workflow.

Maybe that helps a little further or someone else has found a way

You could use this script: https://repository.idimager.com/openres ... 948FFA1FDF

This script is also available by right clicking a thumbnail and then select Run Script from Repository->Catalog->Create Catalog Labels for Areas

hert: I tried that, the recognition rate of faces is very low. I just tried it again with some test photos. from 20 faces to about 10 photos that look clear into the camera, he has not found

The script that I pointed out will create catalog labels for areas that exist in the image....for example, areas written with Lightroom. You mentioned that that's what you are doing. So if you're using Lightroom to do your face recognition then you can use the script to create catalog labels for those areas in PSU.

sorry, I misunderstood. I thought it recognizes that.
That's right, I used the script just for that. You recommended that to me in one of my last problems.

With the many possibilities one overlooks something as a beginner :)
